UBCO, Okanagan College, AuthenTech, Fortis BC and Wilden are Breaking Ground for the Living Lab.

The two homes that will be our Laboratories for sustainable home building are now under construction in Wilden’s Upper Canyon neighbourhood. At the groundbreaking event on Thursday, March 31st 2016, the five partners gave insight into the idea behind this pioneering research and learning project, while in the backdrop trade students of Okanagan College were working on the foundations. Among the speakers were MLA Norm Letnik, Dr. Deborah Buszard, Deputy Vice Chancellor of UBC Okanagan and the President of Okanagan College, Jim Hamilton. We’re proud to be a part of this one-of-a-kind collaboration. We’ll share more details shortly.
