Join the first Wild One Trail Run in support of Youth Mental Health!

Join the Wild One Run! This first Kelowna trail run taking place in Wilden on Sunday October 14th offers 3 distances, making it a fun event to join for everyone and all levels. The courses will feature wildly beautiful Wilden backcountry, stunning views and varying terrain including steep ascents and winding descents – Kelowna trail running at its best.

Wild One Run Courses:

  • 10K Loop
  • 5K Run/walk
  • 5K Dog run with owner (dog must be ion leash at all times)
  • 1K Kids run (under 12 years of age) with their supporter(s)

Find the detailed maps on our Wild One Run website.

The start and finish of all three courses will be at the future Wilden village centre site at the top of Union Road across from our Hidden Lake Lookout Towhomes. This area will also be the main gathering point great for spectators with registration tent, water and aid station. Residents Kim Morgan and Chris Keeley will provide live entertainment on stage at the event and awards will be given out after the last runner/walker has finished. We invite and encourage runners, non-runners, supporters and furry friends to attend the celebrations, including live music, food and awards to follow the run. Come join us for the first year of this Wilden event and you will be hooked for years to come!

All proceeds of this event go towards the Blenk Family Fund for Youth Mental Health. This fund supports the Foundry Kelowna as well as research and education in youth suicide prevention.

Registration is through Race Roster.

Find the registration link on our run website.

Sign up before September 15th for reduced registration fees.

If you don’t want to run, but would like to be involved we’d love to hear from you. We need plenty of people to volunteer to ensure everything runs smoothly on the courses and behind the scenes. If you’d like to help out at the run please email Malindi Elmore at [email protected].
