It’s time to #MeetWilden! Meet Wilden Team Member, Alice Henshall.
1. How and when did you first get involved with Wilden and what is your role?
I moved from the UK to the Okanagan in March 2022 and joined the Wilden team in August 2022 as a Project Coordinator.
2. What are some of your favourite things about working with Wilden?
The work life balance that Wilden offers is definitely one of my favourite things… And the office dogs, of course!
3. If you were an animal living in Wilden, which one would you be?
Definitely some kind of bird…. I’d love to be able to fly!
4. If you were to build your dream house in Wilden, what are some must-haves you would include?
A hot tub and cinema room would be a must! And a space outdoors where I can have my own vegetable garden.
5. What are some of your favourite ways to relax and play in the Okanagan?
Paddle boarding during the summer, then snowboarding in the winter. I love that there is an activity to do each season here.
6. What is one thing people would be surprised to know about you?
I have been skydiving and bungee jumping… I guess that’s quite surprising (and probably why my chosen animal is a bird haha).
7. What is Kelowna’s best kept secret?
I don’t think its a secret, but I do love all the local cideries around!
8. What are some of your favourite local Kelowna businesses you like to support and more people need to know about?
It’s not quite in Kelowna…. but Salty Caramel in Lake Country is definitely one of my favourite places to go for lunch! 😊
9. If you didn’t have to sleep, what would you do with the extra time?
But I love to sleep… I would probably spend more time outdoors enjoying my hobbies.
10. If you weren’t living in the beautiful Okanagan, where else would you live?
I would be back in the UK with my family… Or New Zealand! 😊
