Today We Are Introducing Nicole Holkestad To You, A Singer-Songwriter at Our 2016 Wilden Creativity Day!
Last Friday we introduced you to Jia Chen, BFA Graduate and one of our 2016 Wilden Creativity Award finalists. Today we are pleased to introduce you to Nicole Holkestad, a young singer-songwriter who will be performing at our second annual Wilden Creativity Day, coming up on Sunday, June 5th.
Nicole Holkestad is a singer/song writer with a unique hypnotizing, and melodic voice. She has an acoustic, indie folk sound.
Nicole is relatively new to the Kelowna music scene. She is a self taught guitarist who began playing three and a half years ago. Last spring she began writing her own songs while she was in Zambia completing her nursing degree.
This past year has been a journey of self discovery as she transitioned from playing just for friends to playing in front of various live audiences. Nicole Holkestad is a story teller who doesn’t shy from sharing her own experiences through her music.
She just completed her 200hr yoga teacher training in India this past February. Starting in July you can find her at The Hot Box Yoga serenading the yogis in Shavasana.
We are excited to have Nicole perform at this year’s Wilden Creativity Day and re looking forward to listening to her unique hypnotizing and melodic voice.
Join us on our patio at the Wilden Presentation Centre on 132 Sky Ct on June 5th, where we will also showcase the #WildKelowna Spring Photo Contest finalists as well as announce the winner of the photo contest.
