It’s time to #MeetWilden! Meet Wilden Team Member, Vincent Eger.

1. How and when did you first get involved with Wilden and what is your role?

I started with Wilden in 2012, nearly 13 years ago, creating videos and photos as an independent contractor through my company, Kodiak BC. In 2024, I joined the Wilden team full-time as the Director of Marketing, leading our marketing efforts.

2. What are some of your favourite things about working with Wilden?

I’m excited about Wilden’s rich future and the opportunity to shape communities into amazing places to live. It’s wonderful to work, live, and play all in my favourite place, especially with such an amazing team.

3. If you were an animal living in Wilden, which one would you be?

I would be an eagle, so I can experience the beauty of the Okanagan from above.

4. If you were to build your dream house in Wilden, what are some must-haves you would include?

A proper gym would be amazing, and a dog shower in the garage so my dog Nelson doesn’t track dirt all over after our morning runs.

5. What are some of your favourite ways to relax and play in the Okanagan?

I’m a huge fan of the outdoors, which is a key reason why I love living here. Some of my favorite activities include mountain biking, trail running, and snowboarding. I also enjoy fishing and camping, as there are so many amazing lakes and remote spots in the area within a short drive.

6. Do you have a superpower or talent that nobody would guess?

I have a knack for the financial markets. I enjoy analyzing trends and making strategic investment decisions, both in day trading and long-term investing. It’s a rewarding way to apply my analytical skills.

7. What is Kelowna’s best kept secret?

Kelowna is a paradise for outdoor enthusiasts with great weather, stunning mountains and lakes, and plenty of hidden gems to explore.

8. What are some of your favourite local Kelowna businesses you like to support and more people need to know about?

I love the Brewery District. Being German, I really appreciate the fantastic beer options there. It’s a great spot to enjoy a variety of local brews and support Kelowna’s vibrant craft beer scene.

9. If you didn’t have to sleep, what would you do with the extra time?

I would spend more time editing videos for my personal projects. With work and family, I don’t get to focus on it as much as I’d like.

10. If you weren’t living in the beautiful Okanagan, where else would you live?

I can’t think of a better place to live, but if my family and work weren’t in the Okanagan, I’d likely choose Vancouver Island near Victoria to be closer to the surf.
