It’s time to #MeetWilden! Meet Wilden Team Member, Christina Wilson.

1. How and when did you first get involved with Wilden and what is your role?

My role is the VP Development and Construction. I joined the team March 2025.

2. What are some of your favourite things about working with Wilden?

There’s an awesome group of like-minded people here—everyone’s super welcoming and really makes you feel like a valued part of the teamI like how innovative we are and thinking outside the box when it comes to improving our buildings in environmentally responsible ways.  The variety of projects keeps things interesting and gives us the chance to bring something new and different to the community.

3. If you were an animal living in Wilden, which one would you be?

While I love the idea of having a bird’s eye view of Wilden and the Okanagan I’m not a fan of heights, so I’d have to say a deerExploring the mountainside to find pockets of land untouched and taking in all the mountain and water views.

4. If you were to build your dream house in Wilden, what are some must-haves you would include?

It would have to have a panoramic view of the mountains or valley. I love technology so smart home features are a must. Double islands for family hangouts and a large hidden pantry would be amazing.

5. What are some of your favourite ways to relax and play in the Okanagan?

I love golf, not just the game but the opportunity to explore some beautiful landscapes while playing the golf course. Paddle boarding, hiking, riding bikes (with pit stops at some breweries of course), basically anything outside to enjoy this beautiful landscape and weather that we are lucky enough to call home.

6. Do you have a superpower that nobody would guess?

I wish I had the superpower of slowing or pausing time like the time stone in the Avengers moviesTime flies by so fast and to be able to pause or slow it down to spend more time with my kids would be everything.

7. What is Kelowna’s best kept secret?

There are some really great places to eat. We are known for our beaches and wineries, but we have a great food scene too.

8. What are some of your favourite local Kelowna businesses you like to support and more people need to know about?

The Greek House, L’Isolla Bella Bistro, Pane Vino Pizzeria are some of my favourite restaurants. Britannia Brewing and Red Bird are some fantastic breweries to visit, and there are many more to explore.

9. If you didn’t have to sleep, what would you do with the extra time?

Trying new recipes and traveling with my family. We love travelling and if I didn’t have to sleep and could spend more time exploring the world that would be awesome.

10. If you weren’t living in the beautiful Okanagan, where else would you live?

In Canada it would be PEI. We visited one summer and fell in love with the landscape, hospitality, and overall vibe. If it was anywhere else in the world, it would be either Northern Scotland or Northern England.
