Intention Jewelry

INTENTION jewelry is created by local artist, Kim Morgan. Each piece is made of creative combinations of glass, resin, acrylic, metals, wood, and original artwork. “I never make a piece of jewelry I wouldn’t wear myself. I collect elements I love from local sources, and on global travels so that I can create unique pieces.

Styles range from Sophisticated to Bohemian. “I let the colour and feel of the beads and findings determine what the final style of the piece will be. I sometimes surprise myself at what I create!”

INTENTION bracelets, earrings, and necklaces make thoughtful gifts for those you care about, and also add style to your own wardrobe. As Kim always says, “Whatever piece of jewelry you wear, wear it with INTENTION”.

Intention by Kim Morgan is also a small collection of fine art. “My style of painting always changes. I use acrylics to paint pieces from nature, abstracts, and fun , quirky themes- whatever inspires me. I love to play with the way colours change each other when put together- It’s fascinating!”

Arlene Buick • Fine Artist

My interest in art began in Grade Three when I painted dancing flowers on a stage representing the Nutcracker story.  Since I received accolades from my teacher and classmates, I started to draw everything I saw.  The art interest was the reason I chose Art Education as my major in university.  At UVIC, I was involved in an art display for a national Art Synergy Conference.

I was not able to pursue my passion for art until I retired from teaching.  I have taken many workshops trying to expand my skills and to be inspired by the talented artist in the Okanagan.

In my artist pursuits, experimenting with a black background allowing an image to explode from the canvas has been very rewarding but challenging.  I am fascinated by the Okanagan sunsets with their vibrancy and moodiness.  Lately, I have been experimenting with the movement of water and its reflections.  I have always been drawing trees especially silhouettes with the intricacies of the intertwining branches and searching for the mosaics of colours peeking through.  All the amazing aspects of nature are inspiring to me.

I want to keep developing my skills in many mediums and continue to explore all the varieties of aspects of art creation.  I have worked in pen and ink, graphite, watercolours, pastels and acrylics.  Currently, I am expressing myself in abstracts which is a truly new area for me.

Life is full of new explorations and opportunities for learning.

Culinary Discoveries

Farming Karma

Farming Karma is built on the feeling of Freedom, Family & Fun. If you are like them you value affordable, healthy products that leave you feeling appreciated. At the event you’ll get to try their very own made apple soda; a delicious, sparkly & refreshing drink.

Niche Wine Company

Niche is not a big company. They are farmers, who love making (and drinking) wine & reside in Wilden. They harvest grapes from small batch crops, and spend long days earning their grape-stained palms and muddy boots. Their wines are made without fancy equipment, and instead benefit from gravity, smarts, and a few strong hands. The quality of Niche wines is no accident. Their family-run winery produces handcrafted wines that are made to be enjoyed. We hope you get to join us and enjoy them as much as they loved making them.
